I've got a TASCAM 488 Mk II, and I have been playing around with Acid Music on my PC and would like to record some of the loops I have created on the PC onto the 8-track. How do I do this? I'm obviously an amateur. Do I use a MIDI device to accomplish this? Eventually, I would like to move the recorded tracks from the 8-track back to the PC. I'm assuming the same technique, in reverse, would apply. Thanks in advance for any help/advice on this. - Michael

Hi Michael!

Well, what kind of soundcard do you have?

Because the number of Outputs on the Soundcard is going to be the limiting factor in how many tracks you can record out to your 8 track at one pass-and the same in reverse.

You may wish to post this in one of the PC recording Forums.
