No, that's not it. If you're mixing down as 16 bit wav, then it must be some other setting problem, either in Cakewalk or Nero. I use n-Tracks, so can't help with that. I use Nero, and it has no problem burning from my n-Tracks mixes.
Exporting to MR8 is used mainly for mixing tracks to use as reference to add more tracks to your song. For example, record basic tracks, import to pc. mix tracks on pc software and convert to a mono wav, then export to mr8 on 1 track. Leaving 7 tracks to overdub and import back to pc. Hopefully your mixing software should have an option to convert your tracks to a stereo wav file. Then burn that wav to cd via cd burning software. Or you could send mixed tracks back to mr8,overdub on remaining tracks then convert to wav on 7/8 then usb to pc. Read past threads on file transfers and other topics. Lots of good info in there. Good luck Pj
ok cakewalk will definatly create a 16 bit 441 sampling rate stereo or mono wav file, just import the mixdown file into nero's music section, and burn at 4x should work fine....
nero is one of the nicest most user friendly programs ive seen....
