I'm not sure if this song is in really bad or really good shape. I suspect it's one or the other:

Please don't comment on the singing performance. That singing represented seven hours of my life; I can't get it any better. Everything else is fair game.

Don't put yourself down. It's not that bad. Really. I like it.
Percussion sounds a bit to artificial in my ears and the mix sounds a bit muddy to my ears (could be my less than perfect hifi speakers though) but it's a nice song.

Wow, that's really cool. I don't think it sounds muddy at all. Very clear and well-balanced. There's a jangly percussion sound (tamborine? - I'm not a percussionist obviously) near the front that I would turn down a tad. And I'd like to hear the vox a bit clearer. I don't think I'd neccessarily want them louder - just maybe a little eq-ing to help them stand out a little clearer.

But this is really nice-sounding and all of the above are just nitpicky comments. Is that a real theramin?

And only 7 hours for the vox? Shoot, that ain't nothing! Ever been in on a major label session? They'll be lucky to have one verse done by then!

This is overwhelming me with crispy highs. I want to hear a better balance here. The highs in every track are building up to an unpleasureable effect.

Sounds kinda REMish. The lead guitar is very His Name Is Alive.

Ahhh, this is the type of feedback I wanted. I did boost the highs on the guitar quite a bit. I will listen to it again with this in mind. Thanks!
