when I use my freq analisis on any song, it show me that everything in the 3k and below are high getting higher the lower the freq. This goes for any song. So as an experiment I massively eq'd the low end to see if it changed anything, and it didn't really change anything at all. Are these plugins worthless? If so what are some good ones? I would like to have a good one. I'm using the one that came with my Adobe

Are you sure you were analyzing POST eq? It really makes a difference where the analyzer is in the chain.

I don't know anything about adobe, but there would be no point to a spectrum analizer that doesn't do anything (hell, the one on winamp works fine) This kind of sounds like user error of some sort.
Any way, these things are only marginally useful. There is no 'golden curve' that you should be striving for. If it sounds good, it is good, no matter what it looks like.

Well, you might be right, but the only reason I need it is not for "that golden curve" I know most of what I'm doing with mixing, but sometimes I have problem freqs that pop out and it helps to find them.

It would be easier to sweep a parametric with a narrow Q to find the offending frequency. It doesn't take much 4k to get on your nerves, not even enough to see on the analizer in a full mix.
