2 Adat XTs, one sixteen bit one twenty bit, everything works, transports, converters, but they keep getting error 7s (usually dirty heads) could be used as digital converters to get into your puter through a card. I have replaced them with HD24s and no longer need them and it seems you can't sell them anymore. So, my loss could be your gain, 16 tracks of good digital converters. I would hate to have to throw these away in the dump seeing I payed over sixteeen hundred for them. I have two elco connectors I am trying to sell for cheap that go with these.

I don't pay shipping.

PM sent. yeah, sent. (Damn "too short" message.)

I put these on craiglist for free and still couldn't give them away!!!

Can these be used as standalone converters? 8 lines to adat right?

And do they operate at 48k?

I might be interested in one......It's either that or a behri on my current budget. :p

yes they can. You can go into the puter via litepipe or SPDIF I think. you may be able to download a manual somewhere

are you in the UK?
if not, it probably wouldn't be worth the postage.

are you a diyer/modder?

I'm wondering if it's possible to strip these down and rehouse them as converters only, maybe in a single rack unit?

hmm....off to ebay i go.

I don't know, but you can just use them as they are. Probably be more trouble than it is worth. You would have to keep the power supply to them etc. I ran them directly into the puter once via lightpipe and had no problems. Sorry about the shipping. I still can't give them away!!

PS, if you buy one make sure it is the XT model and you use a elco connector to get +4db, otherwise you are stuck with -10 db.

Thanks for the tip!
i'm surprised no ones making an ebay fortune converting these.
maybe it's just not that good an idea!

they sure are some cheap converters, free, except I can't give them away!!
