guess what I AM FILIPINO TOO !! lol my mom grew up worst then you so i have no sympathy for you...my mom grew up in manila..her mom and dad died by the age of 8 / 10 and she had to live with relatives man..and its not only that, they didnt leave my moms with anything because they didnt have anything to leave her with. now she lives in the united states, and is makin about 12 dollars an hour on a 9-5 job. dont come in here with that man, if you really want it get it because you askin for somethin free when all of us worked hard to get where we are now is just pityful, come to grips with how the world works, ive really wished i had more stuff "free" in my life but i never ask for somethin free, i work for it or wait..and if im being a dick, so be it.

I can eat 3 square meals a day... got a nice family... What is wrong with you, man? What I was asking is a piece of hardware that people might throw them out. Do you think that your earning dollar would give you a license to humiliate other people? Am sorry if you were embarrased that a Filipino beggar is asking something for free. Again, you're a joke!!!!

By the way, thanks for considering yourself as still a "Filipino".

lmfao, so if you can eat three square meals aday why cant you afford a card ? im not embarrased that a filipino beggar askin for somethin for free, haha kinda funny the way your takin this way bigger then it should be, all i meant outta the whole "speech" i put together was to say if no one is gonna give you it get it yourself, and by the way i am proud to be pinoy and its a disgrace for you to "renounce" my heritage. so i still consider my self filipino..
 
'Rakan' means friends in Malay / Indonesian. I am from Malaysia . and yes relatively speaking pro level recording equpment are EXPENSIVE in our parts of the world. As an example a had a friend in the US who sent me a Lexicon MX200; which cost RM1600 here. And that is what most people here earn in a month. In the US you can get it for a days work, and stiil have enough left over for your beer. ..........Cheers
 
I have been away from the board for some time, and boy have things changed. I had NO idea I could ask/request for free gear, what a concept.

You stated you have a job and that is a good start. What I normally do is save my money for the things I would like to buy. What a phenominal concept.

When I was 12, me and some buddies started our first band and needed a PA. Guess what us youngsters did? We mowed grass, saved our lunch money, and cashed in pop bottles for nickels. In about a year we bought the PA with NO free help. You may live in a 3rd world country, but at the age of 12 all I had was determination.

I am now 41 and continue my music purchasing along the same path. I have mouths to feed just like you, so spending extra cash on my hobby is not always possible. I wanted a nice acoustic guitar a couple of years ago, so I took a jar and wrote the word "Wood" on it, and put money in it when possible. About a year and half later I bought a nice Martin guitar.

Ok, you get the picture. No slander, just reality.

Work/Save/Work/Save/Work/Save

Now, if you want something free. Cross over the US border and they will hand you all kinds of stuff, maybe even a sound card.

I think Behringer has a plant in his 3rd world country. He could get a job and just steal from them.
