Free recording software

Hi there!

I was wondering if there is any free recording software available. Do you know any good (the best) software for free that supports midi and asio low latency drivers?

Well it aint free, but for $45 US it's hard to beat ... n-Track . And check out Audiominds.com .
You could check out Kristal Audio Engine ... not as feature packed as n-Track, but it's a good free starting point.
Audacity makes for a decent free wave editor.
Google search for free VST Plugins .
Free MIDI Sequencer .

N-Trak is the way to go, come on lets face it for 45$ it's a hellof a deal. I use it and it is just the best ever

If you can't cough up 45$ then what da hell are ya doing recording anything????

I'm another N-Track user and recomend it.

Also go out and get a copy of "Computer Music" magazine. They put a free studio of sequencers, plug-ins, sampler and synths in each issue's CD that'll at least get you started.
