free playback software that allows tempo increase without pitch change

Anyone know of something like this? I'm trying to play a spoken word WAV file faster but without increasing tempo. I know there used to be some slightly crude players in the past (maybe an old version of WMP?) - anyone know of one now? Or perhaps a demo of a well-known product?
