No, no, no, no, no! I'm not claiming to be smarter than anyone here, really (although I admit it did sound a bit like that!), I know that a web-based argument can really be fun, and I certainly take none of this seriously. I don't watch South Park so I'm unable to appreciate the reference.

Perhaps i may have even dabbled a bit in this very thread........nahhhh. :)

I just got another 2 submissions....Im at like 30 songs or so now, Actually more like 45-50 songs as most of you have submitted more than one.....great stuff folks, I cant thank ya enough, Im totally stoked and so are my cohorts that help me w the whole thing, great stuff......Its great to see that theres really good stuff out there thats being done at home....I think its great that so many people have the ability and talent to record cool tunes right at home

K...I'm not going to give up my tunes but, here's what I will do. My daughter is attending Columbia School of Arts in Chicago. She's a senior with emphasis in post production. I'll hit her up to put your video the the mastering grinder. You'd be willing to keep her name in the credits I presume.

What say you if you're interested,...I'll give her a call.

She can have a whack at it, Ill rip ya a pre production dvd as soon as its done.....video mastering eh? What exactly does that consist of? I know absolutely nothing about mastering when it pertains to video.....very interesting......I never had my other releases mastered....zat bad? :o

Man, a tear just fell in my beer! This is how the forum should be, bitch bitch bitch, then collarborate and help one another out! Man, this is great. I'll buy a video when it comes out! Especially if you have a blooper reel... nothing better than seeing dudes rack their nuts off of insane jumps and such!

Here's what I do know about it...the education is costing me a fortune, the gear and the software is breaking the bank and I can't wait till she graduates so she can go out and get one of those "real jobs".

She works a lot with sound, over-dubbing, track corrections, synchronization and quite a bit of mixing and audio massaging but the final audio stuff she usually works with an audio engineer. I've learned much from her actually when she gets a chance to come out and visit. There's also a lot of video clean up...editing, transistions, lighting and color stuff...not really my area but it sounds like it gets real deep if you let it. There's an artistic approach with technical skills applied. She's done several public service spots that have aired and some local television commercial work.

But just like in the music biz, the best work needs to be done up front during the recording process.

go download some then... :) click here.....were famous for our crash sections.....we are amateurs....most of us in my crew race "expert" class wich means we ride the same insane courses as the top pros in the world, usually at the same time during practice. :eek:

it also means that while we have no where the skill or ability of the pros, were dumb enough to think we can ride the same courses. :p
ive broken 3 ribs,a collar bone, a finger, have bone chips in my elbows, and have been thrashed more times than you can imagine, In our last vid I somersault through the "yardsale" section of the Mt Snow pro course...twice even!

ahh ok....thanx for the info....Ill tell ya what,ill rip ya a copy, have her look at it, if she thinks theres something she can do, let her rip.Im pretty sure I get that stuff all done on my own right here, I have a decent recording studio setup , boatloads of software, some great pc's....and all the editing skills god gave a sloth. :eek: Video clean up...do you mean actually improving the entire vid? Or just fixing lense flares and blemishes?
Dammit theres so much I still dont know.Ive been trying to master my own tunes lately....Its going ok...I think. :cool:

POLO! That's great - I've never watched a game (I don't even know of anywhere that they play it). That's for the real upper classes, not the working class people. The only thing POLO means to us 'round here is those little white mints that you guys call 'Lifesavers'. You may well find us eating polos and playing with crumpet (Brit slang for women). Arsehole!

It's very interesting how we perceive each other. Stereotyping, whilst not politically correct, is incredible fun. It's funny to see that your stereotype of us is the toffee-nosed upper-classed boffins and we see you guys as redneck, thick-as-pig-shit, gun toting loons!

Anyone with half a brain can tell the difference between a true insult and hearty banter - Anyone who can't tell the difference I'm happy to upset anyway! :p
 
By the way, I Ate My Bass, I've only just got my studio set-up and I'm about to finish my first track (waiting for my throat to recover to put vocals down), when I've finished I'll send it on if you still need more?
