I have a lot of what I consider good sounding patches for the Line 6 POD and all other hardware they work with. I'm thinking of making some pretty big preset banks for different styles and what not. Metal/rock is really my thing but I can usually achieve some good sounds. I was going to do this and do the pay what you want system much like DDMF. Anyway, here is a demo tune in mp3 format and the patches I used on the tune in zip format. You do need the extra model packs though.

I was also thinking of offer to play drum tracks on peoples tunes that want real sounding drums. I have a TD-20 EXP set up loaded and would like to put it to use other than me just using it. My midi files match up to S2.0 and that is what I use for sounds. Again, I'm not sure how many people would be interested in this.

Well, here are some patches anyway that you can hopefully put to good use.

Thanks for your offer... I´m a drummer myself, but I´m sure many members will be happy to accept your offering! :D

I hear that. It's great being able to play all the instruments I need. I just figure some people want more realistic non programmed sounding drums. And I figure I enjoy it so I could do it fairly cheap for people. Like in the under 10 dollars range. I'm not looking to get rich of anything lol.

I would definitely take you up on your offer to play drums on my tracks. My "band" currently consists of me...and it sucks relying on loops to build my drum tracks. Let me know how it works and what you need from me. Thanks.

I'm still working on my site http://www.joshpollard.com

Eventually you could go through that, just PM me via the message boards here. Pretty much let me know if you want midi tracks or fully mixed drums on 1 wav file or split stereo tracks. On a total per mic mixdown with no mixing done by me.

Are the patches compatable with

an old Pod 2.0?

I've never downloaded any patches for it, and I'd have to hunt down my sowtware (that was 2 pcs ago!) to reload it.

What I'd really like are the settings those patches are based on, but first to hear them in action. If I recreate those patches, and I think they turn out well, then yes I would pay for them.

Like I said, I'd want to hear them before either of us went to any more trouble.

They are patches for the XT and above. Not the older POD or 2.0. So they work with any of the line 6 gear that works with the POD Farm plug in on the computer. I'm still working on stuff, and will probably end up giving them out free because I like helping people out in the sense that somebody would help me out some day.

In that case

I'd still appreciate the settings to try to recreate them on mine, but again, I'd want to hear them first.

And I definitely might want your drum services later.

You can hear a couple of the patches in the demo tune above. The POD 2.0 doesn't have the same models but you could probably give it a shot with some of the hi gain stuff from it.
