You don't need the ns_kit for just metronome purposes. leafDrums has it's own sound collection. ns_kit just makes things really nice. leafDrums is also free, although contributions are good if you like the program.

Allows for time signature changes.

You can find a lot of beat maker software on the net. I think I should to test some and then determine which one is the best for you.

Consider these features of the software:

1: 16-track sequencer (not an 8-observe sequencer)

2: Individual volume control (for every of the sixteen tracks)

3: BPM Management (to control the tempo of the track)

4: Easy Export Possibility (a minimum of exportable to mp3 so you'll be able to burn the tune or upload it, etc.)

Re Dub Turbo

I recently downloaded dubturbo for my mac and when i pull up the software, for some reason that whole screen does not fully display. For example it is cut off at the top by the ticker and towards the bottom only half the piano keys are displayed. If anyone can help me with this problem it would be much appreciated.

If you happen to be using Linux, then have look at Hydrogen: Hydrogen | advanced drum machine for GNU/Linux

Looks like Hydrogen is also being ported to OSX and Windows.
