Frampton on PBS last night

I spent the whole damn show trying to figure out what they were micing the cabs with.

Anyone have any idea?

Frampton got stuck with the "pretty boy" handle...because he was a good looking guy and chicks dug him.

It overshadowed his trememdous talent as a writer, guitarist, and innovater.
It wasn't "cool" to like frampton if you were a teenage guy in the 70's...I know, I was one. I liked him, said so, and got the "teeny bopper fan" flack from my buddies.

Im glad he is getting his due now days.

For me, his greatness doesn't translate well to recordings. His talent is best appreciated when seen live, particularly in a small venue.

Frampton Comes Alive is still one of my all-time favorite albums. I still own it. I still play it.

Talk about shit luck

He is appearing at a small theater 5 minutes from my house in Easton, PA. I have tickets I bought way back to see Supernova the same night. If I had known about the Frampton show first the choice would be over. I bet he will do an all acoustic set, it's a really small theater.
