I have a foxtex MR-8 MULTITRACK RECORDER i want to use the external cd burner function, does anyone have any info on this? how to? the good people at foxtex? just failed to put any info on this subject.

As far as I can tell, only the MR8mkII supports an external audio CD burner. The MR8 and MR8hd can only export data via USB to a computer for CD burning

Eric, thanks for the reply..when i bought this recorder thats one of the features i purchased it for, i know you can burn via usb computer but it has a usb host for a standalone cd burner.

I think you can use any CD burner BUT it needs its own power supply as the MR USB port is not powered. You connect via the USB HOST port (see p124 of the User Manual). I assume you are aware of the process to convert Tracks 7/8 to a Stereo .WAV file in the 2Mix folder for each Song. I download each Song seperately to the CD and burn each track one at a time. (I find it easier to understand what is happening.)
