Just another guy, really.
Inventorying the gear I use for live sound... stumbled across three reels of tape:

1/4" Maxell UD 35-180
1/4" Maxell XL-I 35-180B
and the coolest but most frustrating...
Ampex 406 2". Tracking sheet says it was recorded at Le Fleur Sound Corporation, 1314 Ellsworth Industrial Blvd, Atlanta GA 30318, Artist:Swilley, date: 11-18-1975. 36 years ago!! But, ARGGGG- 406 is sticky-shed tape! And I don't own a 2" machine!

Googling Le Fleure Sound got me nothing. Goggling Swilley got me hits on Atlanta Pastor Jim Swilley coming out as gay last year- the tracking chart includes songs with titles like "Because He Lives" and "He's My Comfort," so I am wondering if this is the same guy?

1975 is the first year it started being a problem no? maybe the tape was made in 74?
