I have a Fostex X-26 and while i think i have figured most of it out, I still have not figured how to double-track on it yet. Unfortunately there were no instructions with it and I have no clue where to find instructions, can anyone shed some light on this matter?

Double-tracking is a recording technique...

...not a multitrack recorder feature.

It simply means to record a part twice on 2 separate tracks in order to obtain a thicker sound.

Maybe i should clarify here, i mean how do i get to record more than 4 tracks on a 4 track recorder? I think it might be called bouncing tracks?
