Just got mine so haven't fully experimented but basic recording quality is excellent as you would expect and very user friendly.
Built in post/pre effects are a real boon.
Certainly not a glitzy looking multitracker but who cares.
Sliders could be a bit more robust though and maybe a slightly bigger hard drive.
For the price Fostex look as though they've came up with a gem
