I am looking for a free copy of the user manual for fostex 280 . I don`t want to buy it from fostex.com, they don`t have free copy to download

Manuals for damn near anything.
It'll cost you though. Nothing is free in this world.
I just sent a Paypal to Mark for $35 for a manual for my Roland R-5.
Don't worry; I doubt if the manual for the Fostex is 200 pages.

You are right, nothing is free, but for example Yamaha has good archive of manuals include the older products...
