Fostex 280 buttons - I need some - HELP!

I've just acquired a Fostex 280 and it's missing 8 of the little square grey plastic buttons from some of the selector switches. The UK distributor can get these (quoting me part number 8226131000) but they're nearly 3 GBP each!!! Does anyone have any idea where I might get replacements or alternatives, please?

I may be able to help you out. Ijust got my 280 back from a repair shop that didn't repair it. If you like I can sell you the whole in operative unit for 40$ American.
 
Thank you. I suspect the cost of shipping the whole unit to the UK would be prohibitive but I'd very much like the buttons, please. I could pay you by Paypal if you let me have your bank details, maybe? Please let me know how you'd like to be paid, and how much.

Ok, agreed. The cost of shipping the whole unit is prohibative. About how many buttons do you need? Where do I send them?

I'm glad you're pleased. Wolverhampton is a city in the West Midlands conurbation and is next to Birmingham, a suburb of which is Sutton Coldfield, where I now live. I lived in Wolverhampton about ten years ago with my ex-wife (one of 3 ex's!) hence my possession of the map. She still teaches there in a place called Westcroft, which you may be able to find on that map.
