My fostex 260 accepts signals from my line6 pod xt, monitored through the headphone jack and with led meters working fine to show level of incoming signal. However when attempting to record by selecting appropriate track and pressing record and play, the machine is not recording! The tape heads are engaged and the tape moves freely and the red recording lights are showing the appropriate lights. Then nothing heard on playback? And no movement in the led meters indicating no signal from the tape? Any ideas anyone?
