A very familiar style done very well. Try mixing that vox up close with less reverb. Try everything closer. Good Bash.

When I think of Texas Rock, I think of Johnny Winter....or ZZ.

This recording sounds like brother Edgar and Rick Derringer doing their version. Not hardly raw. Too slick. Too wet with verb and delay. Trying to sound like Electric Lady Land, instead of a tawdry roadhouse. Nothing in my face.

The drums sound and play kinda sterile. The bass is non-descript.

A decent song. A decent recording. Some nice guitar playin'. No goose bumps.

But I love the album art.

Sounds good, but I agree ^ I dont feel much soul, it sounds very "white guy" playin a club. Not to say you dont have talent, (the vocal sounds very good) Just my personal taste, but I think black dudes pretty much have the 1,4,5, songs sewn up.

Cool. Can barely hear the bass so maybe sculpt some room for the guy. AB what you got with Tush or something, that'll get you close

Cheers
Phil
