HEY! Wait a minute.....is that price for one?!!
499.00 pounds UK translates to about $600.00 US.

I can buy a pair of MC012's at Guitar Center for about $150.00. In fact I should. NO they certainly aren't a matched pair at that price, but from what I read on that ad they are only talking about price per mic, right?

aren't there already a zillion other threads on this mic...no matter what price it is?

and..take off that helmet so we can see your face. Wadda ya got...a facial disorder or something!!!

btw..I'd MUCH rather have a AKG 451. Those seem underated around here except for a few that own them.

You don't get it do you. :(

(That's not me in the picture; btw)

yeah...I "get it"....it's an insanely high price for a very good home studio mic. I guess you have to live in Kentucky to have missed that one!!

I just don't "get" why you posted it:p Go scour the Ebay mic pages and look at all those silly prices!!

oh...the robot is your cousin??:D :D

I just wanted to draw peoples attention to the kind of things shops over here think they can get away with.

And it's not a robot. :p

Hang on a sec...

...because I think that's the price with all 3 heads.

Not as unrealistic if all 3 heads are included...

Correct (Phil).

Here's the Sound Room price for the MC012 with all three capsules plus pad

$299.

That equates to £184

That's a difference of £265

Enough to buy the matched pair with six capsules from Taylor Johnson.

Yep, thats UK pricing for you. I've just ordered two Delta 1010lt's from the US for little more than the price of one 1010 in the UK. Crazy huh?
