Hello FIRESOLE and welcome to the board. DC' huh? Polical parties pay pretty good, and I bet theres TONS of parties in that town
I played my share of em in Sacramento as it is the Capitol of Calif. Nowdays, single acts are the only people who are making any money, as far as this kind of gig is concerned. That and ....ahem....DJ's OMG! I said a dirty word..hehehehe!
Anyway, good luck with your music, and thanks for the comment. No matter what, making a living at being a musician nowdays is tough I'm sure. Too bad, this country doesn't have a clue about supporting the arts like Europe does. Unless your a "STAR". Americas fascination with "fame" makes me....excuse me, puke. Whats weird, is the day they die, they are the same as me. Mortal. So whats the difference when they are alive. Nothing. People just think so. And the way some of these "STARS" act, they must think they've "trancended" into god status. Give me a break.
