Just got a new issue of "SweetNotes" yesterday (it's a Sweetwater newsletter) - in it they talked a bit about 2 new 'comparison' projects - the 3D Audio Microphone comparison CD and the 3D Audio Preamp comparison CD...
Each CD contains a few different sound samples (a vocal and snare drum, I think) run through a bunch of different preamps (for the preamp CD) and recorded through a bunch of different mics (for the...you figure it out)
Consdering all of the product comparisons (both mic and pre's) that go on in these forums - these products looked interesting as a 'pre-purchase' research tool....
