I put up a song called "Morphine" which you guys can check out.

It's still under construction (vocal work still left to do), so this version is definitly not a final. Anyway, let me know what you think so far :)

Morphine

Pretty good sounding man. Lots of sounds, and all are very clear. Well out together... :D

...I'm not gonna lie, this one is definitly turning out to be a bia to mix. But that's part of the fun, right? :D

Appreciate the comment. :)

Plus I also appreciate any post you're involved in, simply cause it gives me the chance to appreciate the Avatar pictures you put up. :D

Hi

Very good song. The recording and mix are excellent. I really like the guitars, vocals and drums. Very good use of the stereo image specially for the use of the bells on the right side.

Excellent work.

Hey Jack,

I appreciate the nice words man. I'm glad you noticed the stereo image thing. That's like one of the arts within an art that I'm always trying to perfect. :)

Nice job Lee - don't care for the bell myself (just a personal preference). Other than that everything is sitting really nice in the mix. No mud just clean and clear. Pass my compliments on to the band too...... :D

most definitly

Nice edgie intro & verse. The Chorus is good but a bit too trad indie in comparison to the verse.
Good clear recording & excelent mixing.

thanks for the kind words guys :) (humbly of course)

Ray...I definitly agree about that contrast between verse and chorus. Honestly that was one of the things we are still feeling out. At least I am. The other was really a matter of use of FX....maybe to spice up the thing a little.

Hopefully second time around I can show a version that's more final and in my words, "hip" :D

It's always gotta be hip, right?

This is really nice and it's refreshing my day.
If I were you I would probably get rid of few sounds and
some non-rock-elements and leave everything else just the way it is.
VERY GOOD!

Lee Rosario!
Good production, good mixing. I'm an audiophile, and I can EASILY listen to ALL of your tracks!

Who's this Alpha Beta Base band? I'd like to know more about them?

Also, check your PMs!!!!
