for all you R&B producers

I know that the MPC2000 XL it's widely used for producing R&B, Techno and Pop tracks, but I came across the MPC 3000 yesterday and I don't know if its worth the difference in cost.
Anybody know the differeces?? If you have used the 3000, maybe you can shed some light into this!

Quite simply if you can get the mpc 3000 then forget the 2000. It is WELL WORTH IT just for the extra MIDI I/O and 8 outputs. Plus it has a more intuitive feel than the 2000.
