Has anyone used this? I noticed that it only has 2 XLR inputs and the rest are 1/4 TRS. If I wanted to record drums and run 8 mics through this, would XLR to 1/4 TRS adapters cause any signal loss? Also, is ther any other 8 channel pre's in the $600 price range that I might want to check out?
