I have a 10X15X8 (WLH) rehearsal room. I am thinking of purchasing some floor monitors, because the vocalists often complain of not being able to hear themselves well enough through the pa. Should I? And if so, should they be 10", 12" or 15"? Thanks.

monitors would be a good idea versus elevated foh speakers in a room that small, with dimensions like that you would have all sorts of reflections bouncing around causing all sorts of problems. 12" speakers would be my suggestion as they translate the vocal range of frequencies pretty well, 10's may work well too, stay away from a 15" as it will prob not cut through as well and judging by your dementions space is prob at a premium as well. make sure you have a decent eq and ring out the monitors before you start playing and you should have much better results.;)

If I get floor monitors, should I just remove the mains from the room? They are huge old cerwin vegas.
