Flat Panel Monitor

Thinking about adding a couple flat panel monitors to my set up.

Could anyone tell me if there are any do's/don'ts on flat panels.

Key issue is that my computer and monitors are in the same room I use for audio tracking.

I am looking for units over 17" viewable, any brand/model suggestions?

Don't buy cheap ones - i.e. no-name generic brands.

The best quality / priced ones I've found are by LG electronics.

I use a LG 17" 786LS and it's very nice.
