Fixing a crackling pot

I just bought a used Presonus BlueTube. Works great, except that the drive pot on channel 1 makes a crackling sound at one point when I turn it, around the 12-o'clock position (it's fine once it gets a bit further around). I called Presonus and they would charge their standard $50 bench fee to fix this. I'm wondering if there is a cheaper alternative here? Something to lubricate the pot that I could spray in there? Or what...

Any ideas for me?
Thanks,
Drew

Something like Cramolin or Deoxit help - at least for a while... eventually though, the pot will wear, requiring replacement.

PS - don't even think about using Radio Shack's "contact cleaner" - it's pure shit in a can....

I used to have this really cool cleaner that was like carb cleaner, nasty but highly effective. My dad got for me from the Boeing Company's surplus store. It was marked as electronic cleaner in Boeing logo. I used it all and I haven't found anything like it. Probably a banned substance now.
Id got to an electronics store (not radio shack) and look at the professional cleaners they have. I prefer high pressure washing, but its not always good for other things that might get stuff on it. I have a guitar pot that needs cleaned, but Im waiting for the next string change.
