i think your kick sound is getting away from you, needs to be tighter (sounding)
your bass to, not sure what to say about it. hi freq are in a wierd spot
i can see your going for that Korn bass sound, you just barely missed it
maby a little more body to the bass?? thats up for review
it may be ok if it had a little less hi freq you could maby turn it up a little more

take it for what it's worth

Come on, you need a good MP3 conversion man. Cant tell how it sounds really.

I listened to this track in my car on the way to work, I realy did not like the overall mix it souded muddy in the bottom end and made my speakers sound wobely. I'm going to re-eq and remix. I encoded the mp3 with lame @ 192 kbps. The mainpage has a lo-fi version, I guess I should have posted the link directly to the mp3 page not the main page. Sorry and thanx for the feedback I will take the kick and bass and try to tighten it up in the mix.

Tighten up bottom end

I took giraffes' advise and tried to tighten up the bottom end. Still not sure if i like the overall mix

Ahh so thats who you are! Downloaded the MP3 and it sounds ok. Might be some EQ issues somewhere in there at mixdown and at mastering. The vocals are real good though. What did you do to the vocals to get them thick like that? I can tell the singer has a strong voice so that helps on getting a thick sound.

To thicken the vox I just doubled the lead, the better of the two performances is a few db higher in the mix than the other and I panned the backing tracks hard left and right. Recorded all vox tracks with compression to control dynamics to some degree, addded compression again and reverb at mixdown. Thanx for the feedback I realy do apretiate it.
