Well, there are a few decent ones on the market, but first you're going to have to tell us how many inputs you're going to need.

lynxone its 450 USD new, not sure what yours is in euro/pounds (not sure which thats in...stupid american :D )

Im pretty new to this, so whats the average amount
of inputs?, And say i have 4 inputs, will the card
let me record them all at one, but mix them separate?

ya that's the beauty of multiple imputs, if you had say 8 imputs on your soundcard, you could record each drum of a drum kit to a separate track in your computer and edit each one individually. Unless you want to record a drum kit or you have several performers to record at once, you may want to go with fewer imputs to save you some cake. One option may be to get a soundcard that has like 2 imputs and then an ADAT imput so if you needed more inputs later, you could expand. Something like an Emu 1212m would work well. I like the suggestion of the lynxone as well, don't know how many inputs it has though

ohh thanks for that :), i'll have a look into that card.
