first song

finally got my first song on the web I think
thanks to the help from the people here at the site. Take a listen if ya will and give
me some feedback if its there. its on Idrive
username-ulsterlanding-song 2001. equipment
used adat xt, alesis qs8, washburn bass,
mackie 1604vlz, us custom drums drum set. I play guitar but of course there is none on it. I did the vocals and the bass and wrote
the music, arrangement,and the lyrics. oh yea
the mic is an akg c3000. I dropped it into
my pc and mixed it in adat edit. I have cakewalk 9.0 but don't know how to use it yet. There were no fx or compression on the
way in and the only fx was the reverb i added
in adat edit. I would really like to mix it
better but don't have the tools yet

Hey I liked that...only thing, I'd like to hear the singing vocals come up more to at least match the spoken words in volume...I think that would be more effective for the mood.....good sound......gibs

I should have mentioned the drummer Chuck
"the metronome" Burdick and Fred Lockwood on keys. We went round and round on the vocal thing, spoken word or singing and tried to get the effect of a prayer. Had the spoken
over the third verse also but decided to drop that. I'm just glad that its is there for someone else to here besides ourselves and any feedback is a great thing.
