first song

I have a song on nowhereradio.com. Its the first song I ever posted anywhere. I played everything myself except the drums and piano. vocals done by two friends of mine and myself. any comments or critique would be appreciated. thanks

Thats acually really good. Reminds me of the Pietasters:eek: Their last album Turbo has a lot less ska and more stuff that sounds like your music on it.

Rockin tune. Well played. Good oldtime rock sound. Good guitar sounds. I liked the lead guitar work.

A couple of things out of balance that I noticed... The tom toms were really loud in relation to the rest of the song. The same thing goes for the brass section. I think you have plenty of headroom to work with, so I'd recommend bringing up the other parts. And then maybe bring down the toms and brass a bit.

The vocals were performed well. I didn't care for the reverb on them. It was quite different from any verb on the rest of the song and so it gave the whole tune a rather unnatural sound.

Pretty good overall job. Trip...

Nice job on this. Well played...very old fashioned country/rock thing going on here.

I like your vocals and the background vocals. I would have to agree with Trip, though, that the verb sounds a little out of place, but not too distracting.

Are you using real drums or is this a machine? I had trouble telling...one of the maddening things about streaming in lo-fi :(

I like the tune! :)
