IT’S A BAD WORLD, JAH©

Forces are moving, somethin’s afoot
There ain't much left that the dragon ain’t took
Tragedy, horror scandal and trash
The whole rotten system’s in for a crash

It’s a bad world JAH, lift me up
It’s a bad world JAH, I’m begging on bended knee
Lift me up and save me out of this wicked raging sea

Confusion and dread in all the news
Terrified people run to the pews
But once it passes they turn back
with cold hard hearts that are turning black

The air is green, there’s nothin’ to drink
They’ll take everything you got and won’t even blink
High speed access and credit cards
The forgotten waste away in hospital wards

It’s a bad world Jah, lift me up
It’s a bad world Jah, I’m begging on bended knee
Lift me up and save me out of this wicked raging sea

Smart bombs burning innocent flesh
Gung-ho honchos in bullet proof vest
It’s a sad world and it’s getting worse.
Time to pack it all into one big hearse

‘Til your truth’n beauty are here to stay
You’ve stood back’n let the world have it’s say
But the time has come, the end is near
The failures of man are all too clear

It’s a bad world JAH, but I can’t give up
It’s a bad world JAH, only you can set me free
Lift me up and save me out of this...please, please save me out of this wicked raging sea

It’s a bad world, JAH.

Seems like a cool song. Words are good, but if we can't hear the song then we can't offer suggestions on anything else. The words are good though

Hi Jonhall, I'm currently pulling my hair out trying to record a demo. I have a keyboard and a version of Cubasis that came with the Tascam US-122 midi interface. I installed it's software on my G4 Mac tower running 8.6. I also installed OMS from Opcode site as instructed in manual. Then I installed Cubasis sucessfully. The Tascam US 122 shows up in my control panel but when I try to open Cubasis I get a message that says there is no Tascam interface. The support from both Tascam and Cubase are worthless. Thev'e both blown me off and are no help at all. I can't believe they treat their customers like that! If you know anyone who could help let me know. Thanks for the kind words about the song. Hopefully I'll be able to post it soon.

I know the feeling. Computers suck! I had to get help from a friend when I setup my digi, maybe look for a cubase forum. You have got a good start if you're starting on a G4. Wish I could help. Let me know when you get your song posted.

Computers?

Dead right. That's why I took the decision to use a multitracker for home recording. Solid & reliable, no system errors or freezes or out of memory messages etc etc. I want music to be rewarding and relaxing not frustrating!!!

Only down side is 16 tracks just ain't enough!!
