First rough draft. Feedback please! [Metal]

[Melodicore]

Hey guys. Title explains most of it. This is a song that a buddy and i started writing.

It's just the guitar work recorded by me through a USB pedal into Audacity.
The drums and bass drops were done in FL Studio.
Minor editing includes simple phasing, fading, and a few others all in Audacity by me.

I'm not afraid to take real constructive criticism, so give me your best feedback.

I should add two things. One, this song isn't finished. It's missing the last chorus and the ending.
And two, this is by no means close to mastered (like you need me to tell you that ).
My point is, the guitarwork and drums will get revamped as we move ahead, along with adding a
bass track and potentially some vocals if we get that far.

One more thing, if you like what you hear then I have half a dozen more pieces up as well,
so check them out and tell me what you think!

Sounds pretty damn good so far. I didn't know FL was able to do metal drums that well. Not great by any means but at least it isn't that typical EZD metal clicky tone you are going for. I can't stand that shiz.

Guitars sound good and thick. You may find them a bit dark once you squeeze in a bass track, but that is just me guessing.

Not bad. This is the type of metal I like. Instrumentals. Add in growls and screams and I'm immediately turned out. But what you have here is pretty cool, aside from the fake drums

Now, add someone like Bruce Dickinson and Ronnie James Dio, and maybe you'll have something kickass here!

It's a good start butu it's impossible to offer anything with out bass at least.
