We use four HD24's where I teach and I also have one in my studio. Mine's never gone down thankfully but two of the one's in the college studio's have corrupted hard-drives in the past. Some students have learned the hard way to back up thier work!
Speaking of the fireport - has anyone tried this witha Mac yet running OS-X? I'd love one but I'm Mac based in the studio. Got a feeling it will work as Mac's can read PC formatted (and others) drives but I don't want to spend out the cash to find out it doesn't!
