This is a demo song of the first band i ever recorded, It was done in my room with CAD drum mic's and some non name mics for the cymbols and guitar amps, I ran it through a Soundcraft Spirit E 12 mixer into a Lexicon Omega into my computer, I would like to have your profressional opinion on how it sounds, comments on how to upgrade my recording gear, things i should change, im just a noob trying to get started in the recording game, thanks

There's too much room in the sound. Next time mic the instruments closer. Try monitoring the mix from another room if that is possible if you're doing a live mix and you'll get a better idea of what you are actually recording.

Yeah close mic OR DI.
Sounds like fun though.
Did you mix to stereo INTO the computer or IN the computer?
NYMorningstar has the right suggestions for you.
As to gear, it depends....

I mixed it in stereo in the computer, the only problem is i dont have the ability right now to track and mix in a different room so im stuck for right now, would putting the amp in an isolated area help? like building a box to put over the cab and mic it from inside there? thanks for the replys

It's probably not necessary to do that but you would get a unique sound. My guess is if you mic closer on the instruments and use condensor mics for the overheads and only mix them in as needed, your room sound problem will disappear.

On close micing the cab's would taking the grill off help?

i don't think you have to go that far. 1-3 inches from the cone surface should do it.
