Firewire Solo Issue-please help

hi,
I have a Firewire solo connected to a pair of Bx-5 monitors, running from a HP PC. it works and sounds great for extended periods of timel; the problem is , after say around 10-15 minutes of not using the computer, it stops putting out audio. i have to reboot and then it will work perfectly again. does anyone know of a way to prevent it from "powering down" when its not in use? thanks

You could try this: Start>Settings>Control Panel>Power Options. Under "Power Schemes" set it to "Always On". Then set "turn off monitor" "turn off hard disks" and "system standby" to NEVER.
