I'm looking to buy some home studio stuff in the next couple of weeks (soon as I've sold my Gibson Explorer!) and am trying to find the best interface / mixer to use!
It'll be used on a mac, with Logix 8. I'm after firewire so I could do some live recording stuff too.
I was originally after an Alesis multimix, but it seems they have withdrawn anything above the 8, and I haven't really heard many positive things about them.
A guy at work has recommended the Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 FireWire, but from what I've just read on here, it's supposed to have some firewire issues?
I'm looking to spend no more than £400, and am looking to buy new if at all possible!
Any help / suggestions will be most welcome.
