Firewire cables.

ok so i have the really short cable that came with my FIREPOD. now its time to get the thing off of my desk and into a rack. and i am looking at buying a cable what model of Firewire cable does this thing run on? and also will i run into any trouble with data transmission on say a 10' cable? i really feel dumb here but i do not know anything about this HELP ME OUT! :eek:

FireWire devices should work correctly when signalling on cables up to 15 feet. You should be fine at 10. (You can go substantially farther with repeaters or hubs, of course.)
 
Check out Belkin. They seem to consistently make good quality computer cables.
