Does anyone have any experience or comments on using firewire (aka i-link) on your audio interface?

Yup. I have the Digi 002 firewire box. Works great with my Sony Vaio laptop. Don't know what else to say, really. It does everything that's advertised and sounds good to boot. I don't have any other experience with other firewire devices, though.
