Firewire 410 vs. DMP3

Which one do you perfer?

Regarding what?? They are two different things and share one similarity: the Preamp.
I would prefer the DMP3 especially because its an individual preamp and offers great sound for its price. if you want an audio interface with preamp, then get the 410.

The same here...

But, if you're needing to know whether a DMP3 would be a good addition to your current 410 pres, it wouldn't be as much of an improvement to warrant the upgrade...if you're upgrading a 410's pres and you're looking at a DMP3 I would say that yes, it would be an upgrade, but no I wouldn't see it as enough of an upgrade to warrant the 150...

I would suggest you upgrade to an RNP or something more along those lines...500+

This is just my opinion though...
