firewire 410 vs. delta 66 (or 66/omni package)

hey 6there,

does anyone own any of these packages...what are the pros/cons.
any recomendations??

i wont be working with MIDI, but it'd be nice to have it there just in case.
and is the delta/omni package the same as buying the 66 and omni seperately??

Pro: Can be connected to a laptop. spdif i/o, midi
Con: new product, immature drivers (from what I've heard). Only two analog ins

Omni.
Pro: 4 analog ins. proven and matured technology, lots of routing options.
Con: No midi, no spdif i/o, No portability.

Wrong about the Delta 66/OMNI combo, it does have S/PDIF i/o.

I stand corrected. For some reason I had the Delta 44 + omni in mind when I wrote that. You're absolutely right.
