FireWire 410 Trouble

Well, Everything is recording and playing back correctly in my sequencer. Even when Im not in the sequencer my windows sounds come right through my speakers which are connected to my 410. But my Keyboard is connected to my line 1 in my 410 but I dont get anytime of sounds when I play a key unless I go into my sequencer(pc) record and then playback. Why is that?



This is urgent. Help please

The input has to be routed both to the channel in your sequencer AND to whatever output the speakers are connected to. Go into the M-Audio control panel and find the mixer strip for the input the keyboard is on. Make sure it is set to output to the channels that teh speakers are connected to.
