firestudio tube-TC Helicon Voiceworks issue

I am trying to record vocal tracks into my firestudio tube interface then into a post vocal track via my TC Helicon voiceworks for pitch correction and harmonies etc.... I record the pre vocal track say on input 15 on the interface then change the output on that track from 1/2 to 4 going into the mono input on the TC, then on the post vocal track I go from the stereo output on the TC to inputs 7/8 on the firestudio then stereo output on that track. OK, if I haven't lost you yet, I should be able to simply hit record and the pre vocal track should route through the TC and back into the firestudio via 7/8 inputs where I can now process the vocals on that track. I have done this before but can't get it to work now. The Firecontrol mixer is set for output3/4 and from there I don't know what to do. It just won't rerecord the vocal from the pre track to the post track. Am I missing something in the mixer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

So can you narrow it down.

Is the signal going from out 4 into the TC?
Is the stereo signal coming back?
Can you see the pre (in 15) and post (in 7&8) levels in the FS mixer?

If so, what are you recording this into? are all the ins and outs configured properly in the recording software? Routing the mixer to 3/4 only routes the mix to the physical outs, it doesn't affect recording at all.

Yes, the signal is going out on 4 to the TC and stereo out of the TC into 7/8 inputs which are the inputs for the post vocal track. I am using Logic 9 by the way. All the ins and outs are correctly displayed on both pre and post tracks in Logic. I can see the 15 input in the mixer but 7/8 inputs back into logic aren't showing anything when I playback or record to the post track. I know this is confusing but let me try again. With the vocal track recorded on track 1 (pre vocal) from the mic in on input 15 then out on 4 to the TC, I can see input 4 in the firecontrol mixer playing when I hit play. Ok, now in the mixer the only way I can assign 7/8 as inputs for the second track (post vocal)is to select from the drop down menu is DAW 7 AND DAW 8. Nothing is happening on those two when I hit record to run the pre vocal track into the post vocal track. Am I not making correct selections in the firecontrol mixer. Something is not allowing the signal to go from the 4 on the interface to the input on the TC then back into the interface on 7/8. I am not seeing the the sound register on the TC meter either. I don't know how else to explain it.
