Ok, first, excuse the name. I registered 2 years ago and forgot I was a member. I now come to you, anonymous people of the internet, in my time of need.
My friend and I recently purchased a Presonus Firepod. Our current trouble is that SONAR 3 only recognizes it have 5 ins, when it has 8 preamps. All the preamps are working in mono, when we record in stereo, it only comes in through the left or right channel. When working in SONAR, we will get a level one minute, and then hit the stop button to record again, and literally, nothing. It's like the last 5 minutes never even happened. And when we do record, it seems that the box is randomly mapping the outs from the box to the firewire card in the computer.
Is it broken? Do we need to send it back? Is SONAR the culprit? Please, help us out.
