Firepod + More Inputs?

Hey guys, here is my current recording setup. I was just wondering if there is a way for me to get some more inputs.

Presonus Firepod
Yamaha MG 16/4


Recording into Apple iMac using Logic Express.

Other than paying $500 to buy another firepod, is there another way I can get more inputs that dosen't cost as much?

What is my best option, or should I pay for another firepod.
 
nope. There is the spdif input, but if you're running cubase LE, you would have to turn off another pair of inputs to use it.
 
Realistically another firepod is your only option. Or upscale to a firestudio. The firestudio also has adat so you can bolt on cheaper I/O like the Behringer ada8000

You could sell the mixer to offset the cost. The firepod's pres are better and that MG isn't doing anything for the quality of your sound
