Firefox v47.0, Soundcloud, and VLC Plugin

Just tried to play something on Soundcloud and it wouldn't. Bit of Googling I found ... https://www.soundcloudcommunity.com...-this-is-after-a-tedious-reinstall-of-firefox

Disabled the VLC plugin and all seems well as of now.

I installed it earlier today...but I'm not seeing any issues with Soundcloud playback. I'm also using an old XP computer, not sure if that makes the difference.

That said...I really do hate Firefox...loads slow to start, and loads pages slower than anything else... like the molasses in January...and their patches often screw things up...and don't fall for that "Would you like to make Firefox run faster"...because if you say yes, it will rest ALL you settings back to default.

I'm stuck using on this XP box because I can't upgrade my IE past version 8...and a lot of sites don't work well anymore with 8.
