Can you use the outputs of these interfacs to send a signal through an external effect like a reverb unit or a compressor? and how? which of these would you recommend. using windows xp, cubase SE, only need two or four inputs. thanks for your help...

yeah you can you just use the effect before going to card or loop the output to another input then record, but it will be recorded with effects, there is no insert/Aux return functionality atleast in firebox.
