...anybody have a Gibson Firebird VII re-issue?...man, I am tempted...so many guitars...so little time($?)...
 
I do not have one (they are a little higher priced than I'm willing to spend) but I've kept my eye on the Firebirds. I think the new ones are very nice and play very well. They also make for a good slide guitar. Johnny Winter still does his electric slide work on Firebirds. However, unless you're tall (6 feet or so) you may find them uncomfortable to play.
